Safe Bank

“Safe Bank” is a journal published by the Bank Guarantee Fund since 1997. The journal’s mission is to support the research on deposit guarantee, financial safety of banks and the stability of the financial system. Articles published in “Safe Bank” are reviewed. The Minister of Science and Higher Education awarded 40 points for a scientific publication in Safe Bank journal.

The European Forum of Deposit Insurers (EFDI), in cooperation with the Bank Guarantee Fund (Bankowy Fundusz Gwarancyjny, BFG) in Warsaw, invites submissions of scholarly and policy-oriented papers for publication in a special issue of Safe Bank (Bezpieczny Bank), to be released ahead of the EFDI Annual General Meeting which will be held in Gdańsk in May 2027.

CALL FOR PAPERS: Special Issue: Navigating through Uncertainty

The Banking Guarantee Fund – publisher of the quarterly magazine Safe Bank – and the Polish Financial Supervision Authority i invites submissions for a special issue dedicated to the theme “Navigating through Uncertainty”. The special issue marks the 20th anniversary of the KNF and builds on the International Conference on Finance held in Warsaw on 23 September 2026.

Guest editor - prof. Jacek Jastrzębski, University of Warsaw, Chair of the Board of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority.

Topic and abstract submission deadline 25th October 2026. Submissions in English should clearly state the research question, methodology, and expected contributions. Papers must be original and previously not published elsewhere. All submissions will undergo a peer review.

Final paper due: 15th January 2027
