Analiza sektora bankowego na Cyprze. Efekty i wyzwania restrukturyzacji

Abstract

Since its tax preference and favorable conditions for capital investment Cyprushas become an important financial services center in its region. Services, includingfinancial ones, begun to play an increasingly important role in the economy. This situation has led to the rapid development of the banking sector. Banks investedamong Greek debt. What, when Greek problems have materialized, significantly influenced the situation of the sector. After reforms banks began to gradually recover to pre-crisis position. However, it is too early to conclude that banks are on the right way to return to their profitability. There is still a lot of work to improve
financial condition and restore confidence among customers.
